In August of 2010 my husband took a job that relocated us from the mountains of Virginia to the coast of Oregon.  This blog has documented my tears and triumphs as I left my life as an east coast teacher and became a west coast stay at home mom.  It is where I tell our stories – big and small.

Sarah:

I’m a teacher.  I used to have a classroom full of 20+ seven and eight year olds.  It was messy and fun.  Now I have a classroom of one. Our class pet is furry, drools a lot, and steals snacks.  It is messy and fun.

When I’m not in my classroom you can find me running, checking out books at the library, or grocery shopping.

Oh yeah, and I often misuse commas.  Sorry about that.
