Our Snowy Day

16 Jan

I’m going to do something I rarely do around here and zip it. Sometimes a picture is worth a thousand words and several pictures can tell a story better than you can.  I know my limitations on this one.

“One winter morning Peter woke up and looked out the window.  Snow had fallen during the night.  It covered everything as far as he could see.”  Ezra Jack Keats from The Snowy Day

And today let us remember the man whose words had no limitations.

Amazing, powerful words.

Such a treat around here! It’s almost gone already but we definitely enjoyed it while it lasted. Any snow near you?!

I love the contrast of Abigail’s bright clothes against the white snow.
Hank looks less that amused. 🙂
